This was to replace a previous Teac CD changer. I really liked the “shuffle” feature. The shuffle feature on that one shuffled play through all the CDs, this shuffles only within each CD; what’s the point! It was awhile after I had hooked it up that I found out this feature didn’t operate the same. If I had found out right away I would have returned it. This is not what I want but I figure returning it would be a hassle.

The CD Carousel was supposed to be out of stock and not shipped until January 2010, but I received within 7-10 days of order. Perfect condition. Great sound…

Teac 5 CD Carousel changer with MP3 playback
The product was advertised as new and it probably was but it didn’t perform as such. It WILL NOT play the #1 disc no matter what I try and the carousel moves very slowly. The shuffle mode doesn’t work as I think it is supposed to do. The sound is good, however.

5-CD Carousel Changer with MP3 CD Playback
I waited months before finally replacing my Technics 5 disc player which lasted 15 years. It was time for an upgrade anyway, and a gift from good friend. After reading all the positive reviews, We chose the Teac 5-cd player. It lasted three hours! My first sign of trouble was the carousel door would open part way and then just close. I couldn’t load any CDs. After repeatedly pressing the door operation button, it finally operated enough to load 5 CDs. These CD’d were all commercial purchases, nothing home burned. The player wouldn’t recognize any of the discs and kept jumping to the next disc in an attempt to play. In the end it wouldn’t play anything. Why isn’t there a no star on the review choices? I’ve sent it back to Amazon, still waiting for replacement and not enjoying any music over the holidays. Be prepaired for a replacement or better yet, choose another player.
